Deep Listening Workshop

A guided immersion into the life’s work of composer Pauline Oliveros: Deep Listening techniques, Sonic Mediations, and embodied creativity. 

Requires nothing more than a suitably open space (like a yoga studio or empty conference room); people bring their own yoga mat or similar.

2.5 – 3 hours; for 7 to 10 people; typical enrollment fee 30-50€ pp depending on hosting costs.

HeadSpace

A full-production performance of livecoding with sonified brainwaves; debuted at ICLC 2025, and programmed for TGAM’s Responsive Dreams festival and the ECOSS festival in Sep/Oct 2026.

Requires clean dual-screen projection, decent acoustics, preferably a quadraphonic sound stage + subwoofer (+ multi-channel USB interface if possible).

The performance is 20-25 minutes long. I can also do a Q&A session if there is interest. Booking fee is negotiable from 500€.

Visiting Artist Talk or Lecture

I can offer an informal artist talk with an overview of my practice, or a lecture that would suit audiences interested in Intermedia and the application of post-structural epistemologies, ie. systems theory, 2nd order cybernetics, phenomenology, embodied processes… to art. Topics such as:

  • Biofeedback in Performance: Embodied Aesthetics
  • Pauline Oliveros + Deep Listening
  • Alvin Lucier + acoustic phenomenology
  • Musique Concrête to Circuit Bending: the Bricoleur Aesthetic in Music & Sound Art
  • Pilgrimage as a Collective Work of Generative Art

In an arts education setting, we can include individual studio visits with students.

Livecoding set or demo

Live generative music (TidalCycles or Mégra) or generative visuals (Hydra) offered as part of a concert lineup or as a demo/mini workshop.

Typical artist fee: 100-150€ for a 20-40 minute set (negotiable depending on circumstances).
